Mr. Boyd has over 12 years post-MBA experience
in conducting market research (including online surveys), benchmarking,
competitive analysis, product development, and strategic planning
for clients in the high tech, manufacturing, healthcare, information
services, and banking industries, among others. Mr. Boyd began his
career in the semiconductor sector with Motorola and SGS-Thomson,
in various engineering and marketing capacities. He has strategic
planning and investment banking experience working for Linvatec
(a Bristol Myers Squibb subsidiary) and Douglas James Securities
(a boutique investment-banking firm). He was also a principal in
Research Online International when it was a web-based market research
and competitive analysis firm. Most recently, he was the Senior
Vice President for Product Development and Management for CompuBank.
Mr. Boyd holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton
School of Business, where he majored in Marketing with a concentration
in Finance. He has a B.A. in Physics from Hampton University.
